Friction pairs in various types of machinery often require intermittent lubrication, such as sliding sleeves and guide rods in the film-drawing mechanism of a vertical bag-making machine. The sliding sleeve is linearly reciprocated on the guiding rod by the crank and the connecting rod, and the frequency is 20-50 times/min. In order to ensure smooth movement and prevent wear, a suitable amount of lubrication is 0.1 to 0.3 L/min. It is difficult to achieve the required oil supply by drip lubrication, and forced lubrication with oil pump type will cause excessive lubrication.
