Research and application of deburring process for shaft end face

The shaft gears used in the camera and instrument industry are characterized by a wide variety, large quantity and small volume. The shaft tooth will generate a large number of burrs on the end face during the hobbing process. The distribution and size of the burr are shown in Figure 1. In order to remove the burrs on the end face of the part and ensure that other parts of the part, especially the tooth shape, are not injured, we have adopted a deburring process combining chemical and mechanical through several years of continuous practice and exploration, and achieved satisfactory results.
