The higher the degree of hydrogenation, the lower the polarity and the poorer compatibility with the rubber midblock. The lower the molecular weight, the better the compatibility with SBC. Replacing mineral oil with polybutene oil can greatly improve the cohesion and heat resistance of hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives. 3. Antioxidants There are many different types of antioxidants in the chemical market. In general, suitable antioxidants should be effective in terminating reactive free radicals generated during heat aging, mechanical shearing, and long-term storage to prevent or reduce cracking of the hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive.
