Cryogenic turning
For the processing of slender shaft workpieces, sheet workpieces, stainless steel, rubber, thermoplastics, etc., if low temperature turning is used, satisfactory results can be obtained. Electric low temperature turning is a method of freezing the workpiece to a cold plate by using liquid film ice liquid to reduce the temperature of the workpiece to below -20 °C. As an accessory to the ordinary lathe, the cold plate can be loaded and unloaded at any time without changing the structure of the original lathe.
