[Written in the front] In order to ensure that the survey can provide guidance to the industry, in order to provide readers with more accurate and comprehensive guidance, the editors of this journal completed the "Manufacturing Aided Design and Manufacturing" in late December 2002. After the analysis report of the software application situation, the first generation of CAD experts from China was invited to experience the entire “Current Plane Engineering†of the former China CAD Application Engineering Office expert Zhou Zhengyi and the director of the Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control of Wuhan University of Technology. Professor Chen Dingfang commented on the report in order to convey to the readers more authoritative analysis and unique views.
