Hebei: Most security doors do not meet national security standards

The reporter learned from the Hebei Provincial Quality Inspection Institute that Hebei Province currently has more than 500 production and service-oriented security enterprises with nearly 10,000 employees, but less than 10% of the installed security projects have undergone quality testing.

According to reports, the quality problems of anti-theft doors on the market are currently reflected in the low pass rate of the three important test items such as the anti-theft door destruction test, the door hinge and door leaf connection strength, and the door lock impact test. The thickness of most anti-theft security door frames does not meet the requirements of anti-theft door standards, and some enterprises even sell ordinary steel door as an anti-theft door. The anti-vandalism performance is poor, and some anti-theft security doors are "cut through" in only 5.5 minutes, and can easily "break through the door". Some products cut corners in the production process without adding reinforcement skeletons. The honeycomb thin cardboard is fixed to the inside of the door leaf panel only with glue in the middle of the door leaf. As long as the door hits hard, the door leaf panel will be hit a pit.

It is reported that from May 8th, Hebei Province will inspect projects completed by March 1, 2007, with a cost of more than 300,000 yuan or a level 3 risk level. The inspection work was first carried out in the financial and construction industries with high risk levels, and was gradually implemented throughout the province. For the safety prevention system project newly built and expanded after April 1st of this year, any project design that is not approved by the public security technical defense department shall not be constructed; the completion of the project will not be accepted if it is not qualified for inspection; System, at least once a year to carry out supervision and inspection.
