Lubricated with phenolic plastic
Some aluminum billets are very "sticky", and when we saw large-size aluminum rods, clip-saws sometimes occur. This method is better avoided by this method. As shown in the figure, the bar stock is clamped with 6~7mm phenolic plastic in front of and behind the sawed bar. When sawing, the phenolic plastic removes the sawdust from the serrations.
