Storage of pesticides is learned

Proper storage of stored pesticides not only ensures that the pesticides do not deteriorate, does not fail, but also ensures the safety of humans and animals. Then how to properly preserve pesticides, avoid pesticide volatilization failure and human and animal poisoning? The reporter interviewed the head of Yangdong, the Department of Control and Drug Control of the Plant Protection Station of the Autonomous Region. He reminded everyone to pay attention to the following points when storing pesticides.
1. Before storage, be sure to check whether the outer cover of the pesticide bottle is tight, and whether the bag of the bagged pesticide after opening is tight to avoid pesticide failure.
2. Maintain the temperature. The higher the temperature, the easier the pesticide will melt, decompose, volatilize, and even burn and explode. Some bottled liquid pesticides tend to freeze when they encounter low temperatures, form a block, or freeze the bottle.
3. Keep dry. Powder pesticides are easy to absorb moisture and agglomerate, so the place where these pesticides are stored should be kept dry to prevent rain and snow. Also have windows for ventilation.
4. Classified storage. Pesticides of different natures should be stored separately during storage and storage, otherwise the pesticides will affect each other and cause deterioration. In addition, the two pesticides that cannot be used can not be mixed in one bottle to avoid failure or cause chemical reaction.
5. Prevent accidents. All pesticides have different degrees of toxicity. In storage, it is best to put them in a counter or wooden box and lock them outside. Pesticides cannot be stored in the same room as grains, oils, beans, seeds and vegetables. Emulsions and fumigants should not be placed together with inflammable and explosive materials, and should not be stored near humans and animals. In particular, children should be prevented from contacting them to avoid accidents.
