The variation of cutting force in milling machining According to Weilenmann's way of deriving the cutting force during end milling, the calculation formula can be obtained. The cutting force of a single milling cutter tooth is:

Where f is the feed direction angle of the cutting point of the tool tip.

According to the above formula, the curve of the cutting force of a single milling cutter tooth with f angle can be obtained, as shown in Fig. 2. The average cutting force of a single milling cutter tooth is

CBN300 has excellent thermal conductivity and impact resistance compared with ceramics and hard alloys at different temperatures. Figure 3 is a comparison of the hardness of three tool materials of CM, TP200 and CBN300 at different temperatures, showing the good thermal hardness of CBN300.


Cemented carbide and CBN300 cutting parameters compared to the workpiece: vacuum pump casting cover: material: HT200. The tool materials are made of cemented carbide and CBN300 respectively. The cutting parameters and tool life are shown in Table 2.
