Daily maintenance method of spraying machine

As is well known, a spraying machine typically consists of three main components: a feeding device, a spray gun, and an atomization source. The type of atomization source varies depending on the specific model and application of the spraying machine. In many cases, the atomization system includes an air compressor, gas piping, an air-oil-water separator, and a gas storage tank. Additionally, some systems use a power source along with a high-pressure pump to generate the necessary atomization for the spraying process.

Those who have used sprayers are familiar with the fact that they consist of two main parts: the spraying section and the drying section. The work facilities usually include a spray booth equipped with spray nozzles, leather conveyor belts, a drying system, and cleaning mechanisms. Modern sprayers often feature a rotating multi-nozzle sealed spray chamber, where the spray head is controlled either by ultrasonic technology or computer systems. Once the leather has been sprayed, it is transported via the conveyor belt to the drying area, and then collected from the other end after the drying process is complete.

Daily maintenance is essential for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of a sprayer. Here are some key maintenance practices:

1. Maintaining the Spray Booth and Air Supply System: If the air supply system becomes clogged or accumulates excessive dust, the air filter should be replaced. After approximately three days of operation, the oil filter system located behind the spray booth should be cleaned. It’s also important to regularly clean the oil from the conveyor chain and apply lubricant to ensure smooth movement.

2. Maintenance of the Paint Supply System: When using the spraying machine, the paint return valve should be opened to allow the paint to flow back into the ink tank. Remove the ink tank, pour in a cleaning solvent into the mixing tank, and start the oil pump. Open the return valve and spray the gun at maximum pressure to flush out any remaining paint and solvent through the tubing. This helps to thoroughly clean the spray gun and oil pump. These components are highly sensitive, so avoid disassembling them during cleaning to prevent damage.

In addition to having a basic understanding of how a sprayer works, it's equally important to know its maintenance procedures. Proper care not only extends the life of the equipment but also ensures smoother and more efficient operations. Whether you're a professional or a hobbyist, taking the time to maintain your sprayer can save you time, money, and frustration in the long run.
