The high-temperature insulation project for oil logging instruments was awarded the 2010 Science and Technology Award of Shaanxi Province. This innovative technology, known as the high-temperature resistant insulator for petroleum logging equipment, marked a significant breakthrough in the field. On May 9, 2011, the results of the 2010 Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award were officially announced. Xi'an Yongxing Technology Development Co., Ltd.'s "Ruizhi" brand "oil logging tool special high temperature pressure-bearing composite insulator and its metal bonding technology" project received the third prize in the provincial science and technology award. The project successfully developed a composite insulator capable of withstanding temperatures up to 175°C and pressures up to 140MPa. It is also highly resistant to acids, alkalis, and wear, with an insulation value of at least 500MΩ. The product has been granted a national invention patent (Patent No.: ZL200710018680.X). These insulators, including pipes and rods, are the first of their kind in China. They have been widely adopted by oil logging instrument manufacturers, meeting all required specifications and breaking the long-standing reliance on imported materials. The metal bonding technology for composite insulators was a major challenge in China for many years. Overcoming this issue significantly expanded the application scope of these materials and optimized the design, material selection, and manufacturing process of petroleum logging instruments. This innovation led to cost reductions and substantial economic benefits. Since the first batch of research samples were introduced in 2006 and successfully applied by users, the product's performance has continued to improve. It has filled a domestic gap and replaced imported insulating materials such as PD41 and PD43. The technology has been adopted by major companies like PetroChina, CNOOC, and Sinopec, as well as several well-known domestic logging instrument manufacturers, including China National Petroleum Corporation Logging Co., Ltd. (CPL), China Oilfield Services Co., Ltd. (COSL), Shengli Weiye Petroleum Engineering Technology Service Co., Ltd., China Electronics Technology Group, China Petroleum Great Wall Drilling Technology Research Institute, Hangzhou Ruilisheng (715), and Beijing Huanding Technology Co., Ltd. To date, hundreds of sets of electrical instruments have been manufactured using this technology, making a crucial contribution to the localization of China's petroleum logging industry. With the large-scale production and promotion of these products, the company has experienced rapid growth and achieved a qualitative leap in R&D and manufacturing capabilities. The high-strength, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant insulators, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 200°C, 170MPa, and exposure to corrosive gases like H2S and CO2, have been successfully used by customers. This has laid a solid foundation for the company’s future development.
