The high-temperature insulation project for oil logging instruments was awarded the 2010 Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award. This innovative technology, developed by Xi'an Yongxing Technology Development Co., Ltd., represents a major breakthrough in the field of petroleum logging equipment.
The project focused on creating a high-temperature resistant insulator capable of withstanding extreme conditions, including temperatures up to 175°C, pressures of 140MPa, and exposure to acidic and alkaline environments. The insulator also exhibits excellent mechanical strength, wear resistance, and an insulation value of at least 500MΩ. It has received a national invention patent (Patent No.: ZL200710018680.X), marking a significant achievement in domestic technological development.
On May 9, 2011, the results of the 2010 Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award were officially announced. The research project titled “Special High-Temperature Pressure-Resistant Composite Insulator for Oil Logging Tools and Its Metal Bonding Technology†under the “Ruizhi†brand was honored with the third prize. This recognition highlighted the importance of the project in advancing the capabilities of China’s petroleum logging industry.
The composite insulators produced through this project are the first of their kind in China, and have been widely adopted by leading oil logging instrument manufacturers. They meet all required performance standards and have significantly reduced the country's reliance on imported materials such as PD41 and PD43. Additionally, the metal bonding technology used in these insulators addresses a long-standing challenge in the industry, enabling broader applications and improving the design and manufacturing processes of logging instruments.
Since the first batch of prototypes was introduced in 2006, the product has continuously evolved and improved. It has been successfully deployed in multiple oil fields and is now used by major companies like PetroChina, CNOOC, and Sinopec. The product has also been adopted by renowned domestic manufacturers, including China National Petroleum Corporation Logging Co., Ltd. (CPL), China Oilfield Services Co., Ltd. (COSL), Shengli Weiye Petroleum Engineering Technology Service Co., Ltd., and several other leading institutions.
The successful implementation of this technology has not only contributed to the localization of oil logging instruments in China but also brought substantial economic benefits. The company has experienced rapid growth, with a notable leap in its R&D and manufacturing capabilities.
Furthermore, the high-strength, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant insulators, which can withstand temperatures up to 200°C and pressures of 170MPa, as well as corrosive gases like H2S and CO2, have been widely accepted by users. These developments have laid a strong foundation for the company's future growth and innovation.
The company's groundbreaking achievements have drawn widespread attention from both domestic and international players in the oil logging industry.
