Dynamic balance meter operation instructions

The balancer is capable of performing **dynamic balancing** on entire rotating machines, functioning similarly to a portable balancing machine. It is designed for ease of use and mobility, with the entire unit fitting into a briefcase-like case. Some vibrations are difficult to measure with basic instruments, such as when nearby disturbances have similar frequencies, the rotor speed is unstable, or access is limited. However, the **dynamic balancer** ensures the highest level of measurement accuracy, even in challenging conditions. 1. **Keep the | key function during measurement** During the measurement process, the displayed parameter may fluctuate, causing the LCD screen to flicker. To freeze the current reading for observation or selection, press and hold the | key. A * symbol will appear in the upper right corner of the screen. Pressing the | Enter key moves to the next step, while pressing the | key again removes the * symbol and resumes the flashing display. If you're satisfied with the measured amplitude value, press and hold the | key to lock the data on the display. Pressing it again reactivates the measurement mode. Then, press the | Car key to store the data in the computer and receive prompts for the next steps. 2. **Switch between RMS and peak-to-peak measurements** In the measurement mode, press the |+| key to cycle through the effective value (RMS) and peak-to-peak displacement (Vp-p). Each press of the |+| key switches between these two modes. 3. **Selecting the magnification factor** In the measurement state, the ×n value in the top-left corner of the LCD indicates the magnification. Press and to change the magnification setting. The instrument offers four magnification levels: x0.1, x1, x10, and x100. 4. **Preset speed detection** During dynamic balancing, if the actual speed reaches or exceeds the preset speed, the instrument automatically enters the hold mode, similar to pressing the | Keep key. 5. **Channel switching** In vibration measurement, channel A and B can be switched using the ? key. In dynamic balancing, single-plane measurements are fixed to channel A, while dual-plane measurements automatically switch channels. 6. **Overflow indication** If the display shows 999, it means the measurement has exceeded the range. At this point, you should adjust the range settings accordingly. 7. **Sensor selection** To use an eddy current displacement sensor, turn on the device and, once the dynamic balancer is displayed, press | hold|. When the sensor selection menu appears, choose the displacement sensor. By default, the instrument uses a velocity sensor.
