Dynamic balance meter operation instructions

The balancer is capable of performing **dynamic balancing** on the entire machine for various rotating equipment, acting like a portable balancing machine. It is designed to be compact and easy to carry, with the entire unit fitting into a briefcase-like casing. Some vibrations are difficult to measure with basic tools, such as when nearby disturbance frequencies are too close, the rotor speed is unstable, or the machine is hard to access. However, using a **dynamic balancer** ensures the highest measurement accuracy, even under the most challenging conditions. 1. **Keep the | key function during measurement** During the measurement process, the displayed parameter may fluctuate, causing the values on the LCD screen to flicker. To capture a specific value for observation or selection, press and hold the | key. At this point, an asterisk (*) will appear in the upper right corner of the screen. Pressing the | Enter key will move to the next step, while pressing the | Hold | key again will remove the * mark, allowing the display to continue updating. If you are satisfied with the measured amplitude on the **dynamic balance measuring instrument**, press and hold the | Keep | key to lock the data on the screen. Pressing it again will return to the measurement mode. Then, press the | Car | key to store the data in the computer and receive prompts for the next action. 2. **Switch between RMS and peak-to-peak measurements** In the measurement mode, press the |+| key to cycle through the effective value (RMS) and peak-to-peak displacement (Vp-p). Each press of the |+| key switches between these two modes. 3. **Selecting the magnification** In the measurement state, the ×n value in the top-left corner of the LCD indicates the current magnification. Press the key to adjust and reselect the magnification. The instrument offers four magnification levels: x0.1, x1, x10, and x100. 4. **Preset speed function** During dynamic balancing, if the actual speed reaches or exceeds the preset speed, the instrument automatically enters the hold mode, similar to pressing the | Keep | key. 5. **Channel switching** In vibration measurement, the A and B channels can be switched using the ? key. In dynamic balancing, single-plane measurements are fixed to the A channel, while dual-plane measurements automatically switch channels. 6. **Overflow indication** If the display shows "999," it means the measurement has overflowed, and the range should be adjusted accordingly. 7. **Sensor selection** If you need to use an eddy current displacement sensor, after turning on the device, once the dynamic balance measuring instrument is displayed, press and hold the | key. When the sensor selection appears, choose the displacement sensor. By default, the instrument uses a velocity sensor.
