A total of 20 projects were selected as the first batch of China's first demonstration projects of CSP, with a total installed capacity of 1.35 GW. China's solar thermal power construction has entered a peak period.

Solved the structural difficulties of the coaxial arrangement of high-voltage rotors, gearboxes, generator rotors, and low- and medium-pressure rotors of solar thermal power generators. According to the special operation mode of solar thermal power station and the characteristics of other systems of Dongqi combined power station, the start-stop requirements of the CSP turbine are clearly defined, the internal clearance structure of the turbine is optimized, and the stress level at the start and stop of the turbine components is reduced and passed. Scientific simulations have guaranteed the fast start-stop performance of CSP turbines. In addition, through the cooperation with well-known universities in China, the life expectancy of the important components of the steam turbine was predicted and a life-cycle management plan was formulated, which laid a solid foundation for the stable operation of the solar-thermal-thermal power turbine in the service cycle, and met the need for quick start and stop of the unit daily. demand.

At the same time, through a large number of basic researches, numerical simulations, and prototype tests, Dongqi has optimized the thermal system of CSP turbines, optimised the intake mode of cylinders, and raised the economic efficiency of CSPs to a new level.

After continuous technological innovation and accumulation, Dongqi emerged from the world's major steam turbine manufacturers, and won the bid for the first domestic solar thermal power commercial power station, the China Guangdong Nuclear Delingha 50MW trough power station project, with advanced technological advantages. The successful development of the Delingha project is of great significance to Donggang’s entry into the solar power sector and its capture of the commanding heights in the solar thermal power generation market.
